— How to get to Kimolos...
There is a direct ferry to Kimolos from Piraeus. The ferry to Kimolos takes about 6 hours.
Except from Piraeus port, there also ferries to Kimolos from: Lavrio - Andros - Folegandros - Ios - Kea - Kythnos - Milos - Mykonos - Naxos - Paros - Santorini (Thira) - Serifos - Sifnos - Sikinos - Syros. Note that these ferry connections can be available only during some summer months and can vary from year to year.
There is no airport in Kimolos island. The nearest airport is located in the neighboring island of Milos and it receives frequent flights from Athens in summer. The airport of Milos is small and it is found in the center of the island.
To go from Milos to Kimolos island, you can take either the ferry from the port of Adamas that operates about 3 times a week or the ferry from Pollonia, a small port village on the northeastern side of Milos. The ferry from Pollonia to Kimolos operates all year round, about 2-3 times a day, and the trip takes 30 min.

As Kimolos is such a small island with only a few residents, there is no need for an extensive public transport system. However, there is a small bus that can transfer you to any place, including the port and Chorio, which is actually the most vivid spot on Kimolos.
A taxi offers you easy and fast transfer to your destination. As Kimolos is a small island, there are only a few taxis available.
Sea buses carry out routes to some beaches around the island and towards Milos, too.
As all distances on Kimolos are short, they can be easily covered on foot!
